To my brothers at Kutang Bato Lodge No 110 [Cotabato City], I share your sadness with the passing of VW Bro Johnson Wee, 42, Ateng Haydee, 35 and their two kids, Kim Patricia, 8 and Enzo, 6; in a tragic house fire this early morning, 24 Feb.
Kuyang Johnson and his blood brothers, Jerome and Jeffrey were like my big brothers during my childhood days. Spent memorable moments with them during those years.
I am sure that our Kuyangs Lorenzo and Wee Han Suh, together with all the brethren in that Celestial Lodge above, "where tears and sadness are unknown; in that place where time will be no more", will be very glad to welcome Bro Johnson in their eternal fellowship.
"And he will hear from Him who seats as Judge Supreme, His welcome words... "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful..."

It is indeed a very tragic news that VW Bro Johnson Wee, PDDGM and his whole family perished in the fire that gutted their store this morning in Cotabato City.
Bro Johnson was the main proponent and organizer of the Mindanao Caravan of MW Bro Boy Aniag last August 15 to 22, 2008. We were together roaming Mindanao from Cotabato City to Pagadian, Ozamis, Tubod, Kolambugan, Marawi, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Malaybalay, Gingoog, Butuan, San Francisco, Tagum, Panabo, Davao, Digos until we reached General Santos City visiting lodges and sickly brethren. It was the time that we just passed by the Lanao Norte-Iligan Highway in Kolambugan to Linamon when more than 300 armed MILF rebels led by Abdullah Macapaar alias Commander Bravo burned buildings and killed hundred of civilians in the area. He was the silent type brother mason and did not need any recognition for all his efforts.
May they rest in eternal peace.
