Just received an email from Sis Jean Calaguas that her father, VWBro James Best, a Past Worshipful Master & Secretary of Lincoln Lodge #34, Olongapo City has dropped his working tools last Thursday at 1218 in his home at Oceanside, California.
No other details were given, the family said they want to make it simple and quiet.

VW Bro James P. Best was the Wor Master of Lincoln Lodge No. 34 when I joined the craft.
He served as Lodge Secretary for several years and he was also a Past Grand Lecturer of Masonic District RIII-C.
My condolences to the family of VW Bro Jim. May he find eternal repose in Him. I would like to join the brethren in giving him Masonic rites should the family request for it.
