Brethren,
VW Bro Jun Galarosa, one of the Past Masters of Quezon City Lodge 122, have dropped his working tools, let's pray for the eternal repose of his soul.
Para sa hindi nakaka-kilala kay VW Bro Geminiano 'Jun' Galarosa: He is the second writer from the Philippine jurisdiction to be elected to the Masonic Brotherhood of the Blue Forget-me-Not, an organization of
Masonic writers around the world.

Brethren,
Our dear Bro. Geminiano de Vera Galarosa, Jr., more commonly known as "Kuya Jun" and "The Aging Lion" to his brothers in the Masonic Fraternity, dropped his working tools due to renal failure on August 5th, 2010 at the age of 69. His body was located initially for those who condoled at his residence in Guindulman, Bohol.
On Saturday, August 7th, he was transferred to the Masonic Temple of Dagohoy Lodge No. 84 in Tagbilaran City, his Lodge of membership. In the evening of the same day, full Masonic rites were given to him by two of his good friends, contemporaries and fellow Past Masters of his Mother Lodge, Quezon City Lodge No. 122, namely: VW Bro. Jose Lustre, PAGS, and VW Bro. Saul Exmundo, PDGL, who travelled all the way from Manila as Bro. Jun had requested that should he die, the two would give him the Masonic rites.
The following day, August 8th , Sunday at 1:00 pm, his remains were brought by his brothers of the Lodge headed by WM Jason Lopena (also a Senior DeMolay), to his final resting place at the Dagohoy Lodge Masonic Cemetery in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
He is survived by his widow, Sis. Lorma (Amaranth and Eastern Star), three children, Bro. Ian (incumbent Junior Warden of Sierra Madre Lodge #181), Iris Ann (Bethel #22, IOJD), and Bro. Ivan (Quezon City Lodge #122; A. Mabini Chapter, Order of DeMolay), and six grand children, namely, Martina Victoria, Martin Miguel, Isabella, Enrico Rolando, Mika Lorenzo and Aidan Bono.
The entire Galarosa family wishes to thank all those who condoled, prayed, and extended their sympathies to the bereaved family and loved ones of Kuya Jun. Indeed, he is not only a loss to his family but to Freemasonry as he had dedicated his life towards them until he dropped his working tools. We would also like to thank the officers and members of Dagohoy Lodge No. 84 who ensured that everything was well taken cared of and that the widow and orphans be comforted. This was truly a great display of the fulfillment of their Masonic obligation.
Fraternally,
Bro. Ivan R. Galarosa
