Updates on PMAAI - 2009 Medical Mission:
In view of the recent calamity in the Philippines caused by back to back typhoons hitting far north of Luzon & the greater Metro Manila Area, it was deemed necessary to relocate the venue of this mission. As we all know, the township of Pasig was devastated by typhoon Ondoy, causing havoc & immeasurable disaster to our kababayans in this community.
After a consultation with Memphis Mission of Mercy & Grand Master Peter Lim Lo Suy of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Philippines, we all unanimously agreed to change the venue to Barangay Bagong Ilog, Pasig City.
We have the blessing from the Office of the Governor of Nueva Ecija to relocate the venue.
Date - November 02 to 05, 2009
Venue - Health Center, R. Valdez St., Barangay Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
Size & extent - 300 target patients per day for four days, [Minor surgeries & consultations and free medicines].
Estimated over-all value of this project is more than $20,000.00, consisting of the following:
Medicines, equipment, other supplies & relief goods.
29 jumbo Balikbayan boxes.
Additional US$8,800.00 hand carried Rx medicines & miscellaneous medical supplies.
20 medical doctors from Nueva Ecija Medical Society.
Nurses - US & local volunteers.
Local Barangay Officials & others.

In coordination with the following support groups:
Memphis Mission of Mercy
Grand Lodge of the Philippines [GLP]
Philippine Masonic Association of America, Inc. [PMAAI]

I am requesting the support & involvement of our brethren in PMAAI and GLP. If you can, please be there during the actual mission [performance of this task]. Also, feel free to contact or text me when you are in the Philippines.
Please pray for the safety of the medical team. God bless us all. Thank you.
