VW Bro Renato M. Guerra, PJGL Drops Working Tools: 24 Sept 2010
The entire Masonrydom of North Mindanao and the entire country grieves the demise of one of its pillars.
VW Bro Renato M. Guerra, PJGL, dropped his working tools at around 2:30 pm today (Sept. 24, 2010). VW Bro Atong as he was fondly called was the President of the Past Masters Guild in North Mindanao and has been awarded three times as the Most Outstanding Guild President under the leadership of MW Bro John O. Choa.
During his working years, he was connected with Biomedis Division of Unilab as Regional Manager. He was a member of Pilar Lodge No. 15 and Leonardo T. Panares Lodge No. 220 and an honorary member of Don Antonio T. Cosin Memorial Lodge No. 308. He recently survived the Hotsands in Cagayan de Oro City.
Together Brethren, let us pray for the eternal repose of his soul. Well done thou good and faithful servant, may you find solace in the company of the GAOTU.

Sad News Brethren...
Not more than two months have passed since the Brethren of Pampanga Lodge mourned the loss of Bro. Albert Mitchell of Leonard Wood Lodge No. 105.
The brethren now mourns for another with the sudden death of WBro James Kermit Basham, HA. of Crow Canyon Lodge No. 551 of the Grand Lodge of California. He affiliated with the GLP in 2008 under Pampanga Masonic Lodge No. 48 (signing our by-laws in April 19, 2008). He also just recently became a Plural Member of Leonard Wood Lodge No. 105.
We, at PML 48 are deeply saddened with the loss of this worthy brother. He is our incumbent Harmony Officer and a hard-working committee chairpersonand has been a constant source of wisdom at PML 48.
WBro Jim is a Hiram Awardee of Crow Canyon Lodge No. 551.
His remains lie in state at Funeraria Angelina in Angeles City. Funeral Rites will be given for Brother Jim
this coming Thursday - Sept.23 - 7:00 PM under the auspices of the Worshipful Master and Brethren of

The brethren of USS George Washington will visit Manila and conduct a "feeding program for street dwellers" at A. Bonifacio Elementary School in the area of FB Harrison St. We expect to cater to 500 street dwellers on Sunday, September 5 at 10 am-1pm.We have arranged the presence of Mayor Antonino Calixto in the said occasion and the barangay and city hall officials will be there to assist us.
If you have time please come to the venue on the scheduled date.We have arranged the following schedule for our brethren on board the USS George Washington:
a. 10am-1pm-- Feeding Program of Street Dwellers
b. Fellowship Lunch
c. Visit of visiting brethren to the Grand Lodge of the Philippinesd. Fellowship Dinner at MOA.
Masonic District NCR-G represented by Muog Lodge No. 89 and Jacobo Zobel Mem'l Lodge No. 202 took the lead in coordinating this endeavor with the brethren of USS George Washington.

We have catered to more than 600 street children/dwellers at A. Bonifacio Elementary School in the area of Buendia-FB Harrison St., Pasay City today Sunday, September 5 at 10 am-1pm. Said occasion was attended and graced by Mayor Tony Calixto & Congresswoman Emi Calixto-Rubiano. And, VW Bro Sixto Esquivias IV arrived to give support of the noble project.
The brethren of USS George Washington were in attendance headed by Bro EJ Angeles. At the GLP, VW Bro Manny Diesta cordially received the visiting brethren.
At 4pm, the brethren were fetched by a ferry from USS George Washington for a guided tour. Photos will be posted soon.

He is a member of Araw Lodge No 18 [honorary member of Jacques DeMolay Mem Lodge No 305, GLP]; and in Sydney, a long time member of the Filipino Freemasons Association of NSW Inc [FilMasons Club NSW] and the representative of the Philippine Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay to Australia.
Our deepest condolences & prayers to Sister Rosie and their two children.
