In an email received from Bro Fred Marty of Silver Gate Three Stars Lodge No 296, San Diego, California (Grand Lodge of California); he announced a get-together celebration in honor of Ill Sir WBro Ben Billena "for becoming the first Filipino Potentate of Al Bahr Shrine in San Diego and to celebrate his birthday as well."
The celebrations was spearheaded by the members of Silver Gate Three Stars Lodge No 296, which was held at Bro Jim Padilla's residence last Sunday noon, 25 May.
Our birthday wishes to Ill Sir Ben Billena and our heartfelt congratulations for a much deserved honor.
The Al Bahr Shrine, located in San Diego, California, according to their website has the mission "... to combine friendship, family and fraternity with social activities and to provide support, both monetarily and by volunteer service to the "Worlds Greatest Philanthropy", the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children."
