W Bro Fred Enriquez Drops Working Tools: 24 June 1948 - 12 Feb 2010

Brethen and all,

It is with deep sadness to inform you of the sudden death of our W Bro Godofredo "Fred" Enriquez formerly of Lodge Star of Australia No 200, and recently of Lodge Beauty of Cabra Vale No 743, last Friday, the 12th of February of severe reaction to a vaccine.

W Bro Fred is also a Foundation member and Director of Ceremonies-designate of Lodge Jose Rizal No 1045 of Castle Hill NSW Australia.

Let us continue to pray for those he left behind, especially to Sis Dolly and family; grieving at the loss of a husband, father, friend, brother & co-worker. May he rest in peace.

"May the present instance of mortality remind us of our approaching destiny. May our affections be weaned from the things of the world and fixed more devotedly on Thee, our only safe refuge in the hour of need.  And grant that when the summons shall come for us to quit the transitory scenes of earth, the light which is from above shall dispel the encircling gloom.

"May we go thence with faith in Thee, in full hope of a resurrection, and with charity toward all men. May we be admitted into the celestial lodge on high, to an everlasting reunion with the souls of our departed friends and brethren." *

The Masonic Tribute was well attended last night with more than 73 brethren present, saying farewell to WBro Fred Enriquez.

One of the biggest gathering of mostly Filipino Freemasons in Western Sydney; from Lodge Star of Australia No 200, Lodge Education, Lodge Alpha, Lodge Beauty of Cabra-Vale and Lodge Jose Rizal, just to name a few.
