Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and brother Masons of our VWBro Delfin Narvaez, may The GAOTU welcome his soul to His bosom and his memory be immortalized by his family, friends and brothers and sisters in Freemasonry.

"In Freemasonry, the broken column is, as Master Freemasons well know, the emblem of the fall of one of the chief supporters of the Craft. The use of the column or pillars as a monument erected over a tomb was a very ancient custom, and was a very significant symbol of the character and spirit of the person interred."

I pray that VW Delfin Narvaez have a peaceful travel on his way to meeting the Grand Architect.

My prayers for his soul and give more strength to those he left behind.

It is a sad topic discussed in a recent phone call to Bro Nathz Golla. It has to happen during the opening of this young 2008. If any consolation, at least we know that VW Delfin Narvaez is in a much better place, free of earthly pains and worries.

God Bless this coming year, all the gifts of wealth, health, and challenges it has to offer.

My name is Joseph Patrick Narvaez and I am Delfin's second son.

I would like to extend our family's gratitude to everyone who was able to make it out to St. Jerome for the viewing and to those who ventured to Maragondon for the funeral. I apologize that it's taken me this long to write a response, but Dad's passing was a shock to us all. To a certain extent, I'm still in disbelief that my father, and best friend, is no longer around.

However, I do know that those of us who were moved by his charisma, dedication, and generosity will miss him terribly but will never forget all the fond memories we have of him.

Sincerely,
Joseph P. Narvaez
