The principal guest in attendance was Sir Knight Joseph W. Lucas, KCT, Right Eminent Grand Commander, Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of the State of Illinois.
The charter and shield was presented by Sir Knight Jesse L. Johns, Sr. Right Eminent Past Grand Commander, Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of the State of Illinois. Others in the entourage were the other Grand Commandery officers.
Also came to grace the occasion were the other two highest officers of the other York Right Bodies; Companion Joseph H. Santisteban, Most Excellent High Priest of Royal Arch Masons, Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the State of Illinois; and Companion Earl F. Wys, Most Illustrious Grand Master, The Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of the State of Illinois.
