Help With Medical Mission: Mendez Nunez Lodge No 316 (GLP), 31 May

Greetings to everyone!

I would like to ask a favor to anyone who could provide (us) medicines and other medical disposables (syringes, cottons, gauzes etc.); that we could use on our forthcoming medical and dental mission this coming May 31, 2008.

This event will coincide with the 11th aniversary of our lodge and will benefit the constituents of Mendez, Cavite. This is part of our thrusts to re-establish our identity as a fraternal body here in the town of Mendez (as we were one of the affected lodges of the GLP/IGLPI issue).

A medical & dental team from the Philippine Navy was already arranged. What we need very badly are the medicines. Please help us realize this endeavor. Help in whatever form is highly appreciated.

(Via email: WBro Alejandro A. Vidallo, Woshipful Master, Mendez Nunez Lodge No. 316, GLP)

Email contact:

According to Bro Jomel Dennis Maranan, Mendez-Nuñez Lodge No. 316 (GLP), meets every 1st Saturday (use to meet every 4th Saturday) at Mendez-Nuñez Masonic Temple, F. Manalo St., Brgy. Galicia III, Mendez, Cavite 4121.

(Moderator's Note: Link provided is of the Mendez Nunez Lodge No 8, IGLPI and NOT of the Mendez Nunez Lodge No 316 (GLP). Part of the history still relevant. Could not find any relevant links to Lodge 316 (GLP). Hope to see one in the future.)

GLP Delayed Master Mason's Diploma

MW Jaime Y Gonzales has given instruction to the Committee on Accounts "to look into the bottom of the problem" on the causes in the Grand Lodge process of delayed preparation of requested Master Mason's diplomas, with the main purpose to recommend corrective measures and find solutions to expeditously process the diplomas and send asap to the requesting brethren/lodges.

To assist us in performing the assigned task, we wish to know who among the brethren and/or lodges have pending request for MM diplomas as of today with the Grand Lodge. Please profound the information by mentioning when and how you sent your request, what document (s) you attached therein to support, how many times you followed it up at the GLP and the staff you talked to, and what were the comments or commitments made by the GLP staff to speed up the documents.

For those brethren and lodges who already got the diplomas but experienced the same delay in receiving them, please forward us with any of the above information so we can consider your actual experience in finding alternative system at the GLP. Any input you can express can be of great help for the benefit of us all. Thank you.
